The moment Hidardo was able to walk as a toddler, his first natural instinct was to gravitate towards coffee. Hidardo is one of the pioneering producers in Honduras navigating uncharted territory by producing an array of innovative experimental coffees that represent some of the absolute tastiest coffees produced in Honduras today. He not only is leading the way for the younger generation of Honduran coffee producers, but he is also one of the very first partnering producers we have ever worked with since we started the company in 2019. Hidardo is also the co-founder of Cafesmo, which is a 280 + member driven cooperative group comprising of small farms & coffee growers who together are Cafesmo. We have personally had the honor to watch Hidardo grow & evolve not only as a very high level coffee producer, but also as a humble and deeply caring person. His work represented in his coffee and work with Cafesmo speak volumes in the industry and we’re happy to be a part of the ride.
