Teddy Kim, a pseudonym for the passionate Korean coffee hunter/coffee producer, Byeong Soo Kim. Finca Don Rafa is located in a small community of Las Margaritas in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. When Teddy made the decision to produce coffee in Mexico he had two primary objectives. First, make sure all of his neighbors were getting paid a fair price for their coffee. Second, to have his coffee be synonymous with the best coffees produced in all of Mexico. This is how Finca Don Rafa has been operating since the first day Teddy arrived on the scene. In 10 years of producing coffee, Teddy and Finca Don Rafa have managed to place 2nd overall in the 2019 COE Auction with a 91+ point coffee and 19th overall in the 2022 Cup of Excellence Auction. Needless to say, we think Teddy and the amazing team at Finca Don Rafa are crushing those objectives.
